My running journey started for my mental health when I was around 15–16. It became a coping tool to deal with all the challenges and emotions that come with being a teenager. I’ve always been an active person, but I also have a history of dysfunctional relationships with food, exercise, and alcohol. At 26, I got sober and turned my life around—using running to grow as a person rather than as punishment. Back then, I ran from myself. Today, I run because I love it. Running is now about fun, challenges, and pushing my boundaries.

My background in coaching running and strength with CMF since 2020. Before that, I worked in a gym as a personal trainer. My passion for the gym began around the same time as I started running, and the two have always gone hand in hand for me.

My Coaching Philosophy is the more you put into your training, the more you’ll get out of it. That doesn’t always mean running more kilometers or getting faster—it’s about the bigger picture. Mindset, balance between training and life, proper fuelling, open communication, and the personal growth that comes through running are all key to success.

I coach because I love seeing people grow—not just as runners, but as people. Running
can be a starting point for growth in other areas of life. If we can face challenges in
running, we can often face challenges in life. And if we can endure tough times in life,
we can push through tough moments in running.
